Verizon Wireless announced it has relocated its communications store in Alexandria to a more central location at 3007 State Highway 29 South (near Viking Plaza).

The store at 505 North Nokomis Street closed September 28.
The new 3,500-square-foot store will better serve the company’s growing customer base and enhance the overall customer experience by providing more interactive display areas.
Customers will be able to experience the latest devices and services such as on-demand access to short news, weather, sports and entertainment video clips, millions of downloadable songs, and cutting-edge 3D games.
The store also features advanced smartphones, wireless cards, modems and netbooks for high-speed Internet access and the latest accessories such as Bluetooth headsets.
The store, managed by Rick Anteau, is one of 43 Verizon Wireless company-owned communications stores in Minnesota. Store hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday, noon to 6 p.m.
