Letter - Do you know property rules?
The Douglas County Land and Resource Management (LRM) department has been working on a revised Comprehensive Guide Plan for more than a year.
To the editor:
The Douglas County Land and Resource Management (LRM) department has been working on a revised Comprehensive Guide Plan for more than a year. Not many people understand what that is and therefore, participation has been sparse.
The Comprehensive Guide Plan is the Bible that guides the LRM department when making rules that govern property uses. It is nearing the end of the planning stages of the Comprehensive Guide Plan, and the rules are about to be written. Do you know what rules will be placed on the property that you own? I think it would be in your best interest to find out.
