The Alexienne Chapter of the Sweet Adelines is presenting “The Alexiennes and Friends: A Musical Matinee” on Sunday, October 10 at 2 p.m. at Broadway Ballroom in Alexandria. Also featured in the event will be the Pope County Men’s Chorus and Sax Appeal.
The Alexienne Chapter of Sweet Adelines provides entertainment and educational opportunity for women to sing a cappella four-part barbershop harmony. The chorus is comprised of women from Alexandra and the surrounding communities. Membership is open to all women who love to sing.

He studied at the Navy School of Music and received his degree in music education from the University of Minnesota-Morris. Michelle has been singing professionally for six years, singing jazz, pop and country. Sax Appeal performs at several local venues.
