Cards come through with 27-7 win on gridiron

Fergus Falls got on the board first, scoring in the second quarter, but Alexandria rallied back to tie the game, then rattled off 20 unanswered points for a 27-7 Central Lakes Conference victory Friday night at Citizens Field in Alexandria.

Quarterback Cole Ellison threw a pair of touchdown passes in the first half, then ran for another during the win, and the Cards capped off the game with a with a score on an interception.
