Parish nurse prep course offered

The Parish Nurse Center at Concordia College in Moorhead is offering a basic parish nurse preparation course Monday through Friday, November 1 to 5 at Mount Carmel in Alexandria.

The program topics include the role of the parish nurse; biblical healing and the church’s ministry; integrating faith and health; health promotion; and working with persons across the lifespan. There will be a pastor/nurse panel, mentoring session, service of healing and dedication service.

Cost for the program is $575, which includes resources, notebook and most of the meals for the week. It is open to registered nurses interested in health and healing ministries.
