Nearly 130 senior citizens from around the county and beyond took in a matinee last Wednesday at Midway Mall Cinema 9 in Alexandria.

Nearly 130 senior citizens from around the county and beyond took in a matinee last Wednesday at Midway Mall Cinema 9 in Alexandria. District 206 Community Education, along with the theater, is offering movie matinees to those who are 60-years-old or better on the second Wednesday of each month from now through May of next year. Seniors can enjoy the show of their choice for $4. Doors open at 1 p.m. and the movie begins at 1:30 p.m. For more information, contact Community Education at (320) 762-3310.
