Sunday, September 26
• Powder puff football game at Citizens Field at 1 p.m.
• Powder puff volleyball game at JHS gym at 4 p.m.
Monday, September 27
• Homecoming royalty coronation at the JHS gym at 9:30 a.m.
Friday, October 1
• Education Foundation 4th annual Hall of Fame luncheon at Broadway Ballroom from noon to 1:30 p.m. honor 2010 inductees Bev Lohrman Grossman, John Hammergren and Dr. Gerald Timm. Tickets are $25. Call Susan Scarborough at (320) 762-3310, extension 4271 for information.
• Pep fest at JHS at 1:30 p.m.
Saturday, October 2 – game day
• Homecoming community parade at noon. One float per activity, organization or business. Parade participation forms are due before noon on Monday, September 27 to Sheree Oberg at JHS.
• Community pep rally immediately following the parade on the front lawn at JHS. Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place student floats.
• Tailgate party at 12:30 p.m. at Citizens Field. Brats, hamburgers, hot dogs, turkey burgers, chips, pop and cookies will be served for $6 per person. Ice cream cones are $2. Features speakers will be Coach Mike Empting and other fall sports coaches.
• Cardinal football homecoming game at 3 p.m. at Citizens Field. There will be a halftime presentation of royalty and recognition of alumni football players.
• Homecoming dance for 10th to 12th graders at JHS gym from 9 p.m. to midnight. Cost is $5 if prepaid by October 1 or $10 at the door.
