Kimball man killed in Highway 55 crash

KIMBALL, Minn. — A 54-year-old Kimball man died at St. Cloud Hospital from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday along State Highway 55.
According to the State Patrol, Craig A. Vannurden was driving a 1998 Buick eastbound on the highway and had slowed or stopped to make a left-hand turn onto northbound County Road 48, about two miles west of Kimball. His vehicle was struck by a 2001 Ford pickup driven by Michael J. Sichender, 20, of Annandale. Sichender was not injured.
It is unknown if Vannurden was wearing his seatbelt.
