On behalf of the Alexandria Area Arts Association, I would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone for attending our Winter’s Bone fundraising event with John Hawkes.
I would like to thank John Perino and Jimmy Chan of Midway Cinema 9 for giving us this opportunity to honor John (Perkins) Hawkes. A special thank you to acknowledge Bistro to Go and Jimmy John’s Gourmet Subs for providing the luncheon and Sarah Carlson for presenting the mayor’s proclamation to John, celebrating “John Hawkes Day.”
Additionally, thanks to Echo Press for their generous sponsorship of the fundraising event. And, finally, I extend a very sincere thank you to John Hawkes for previewing the film with us, signing autographs and taking the time for questions and answers.
