Tammy Boushek to serve as Love INC executive director

The board of directors for Love INC of Douglas County Lakes Area recently announced the hiring of Tammy Boushek as its new executive director.

Chosen from a wide field of applicants, Boushek brings to Love INC more than 10 years of Christian education experience, with her most recent position being the principal of St. Agnes School in Osakis.

Boushek has an undergraduate degree from the College of Saint Benedict and completed her master’s degree in 2003. She has significant experience in the areas of non-profit administration, community relations and fundraising.

Born in Redwood Falls and raised in Wabasso, Boushek and her husband, Jared, have lived in Alexandria since July of 2000. Jared is employed at ITW Heartland. They have two children and are active members of St. Mary’s Church and school.

“I am extremely excited about my new relationship with Love INC and all who are involved in this Christian ministry,” Boushek said. “Its mission and core values align with my passion to educate and empower others to transform lives in our community.”

Love INC of Douglas County Lakes Area is a Christian non-profit organization with a mission to mobilize the church to transform lives and communities “In the Name of Christ.”

Love INC is part of a national organization headquartered in Minneapolis. The Alexandria location began its ministry in November of 2008. It currently assists an average of 30 Douglas County families each month with various types of needs.
