Summer heats up with festival fun

Brandon and Parkers Prairie hosted festivals last weekend.

Brandon celebrated its annual Mid Summer Festival with a variety of fun events, including Saturday’s grand parade through the heart of the town, which included a unit featuring the school’s class of 1965.

Parkers Prairie kicked up its heels to celebrate its annual Fall Festival last weekend. One popular event was “water wars” – a friendly competition among area fire departments.
