History of Alexandria to be featured on PBS

Pioneer Public Television, the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) affiliate that serves Alexandria, will air a segment on the history of Alexandria on Sunday, August 15 at 7 p.m.

Also during that program, “Postcards,” a travel film about Alexandria from the 1950s, will be aired. Viewers will be able to see the story online beginning August 16 by logging on to the website, www.pioneer.org/postcards.
