Kluver to be installed at Living Word

Reverend A.J. Kluver will be installed as pastor of Living Word Lutheran Church in Alexandria at the 9 a.m. worship service on Sunday, August 8. The congregation meets at the Life Right Outreach building, 1906 6th Avenue East in Alexandria.

Kluver is a graduate of Jefferson High School in Alexandria. He received his bachelor of arts from Moorhead State University and his master of divinity from Luther Seminary in St. Paul. He was ordained in 2006, most recently serving in Nevis. He formerly taught physical education and middle and high school athletics.

Living Word Lutheran Church is a new congregation affiliated with Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ. Christian education programs are in place for youth and adults. Vacation Bible school begins August 22 and Sunday school classes for youth and adults begin September 12.
