Celebrate Recovery to hold community picnic
Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered recovery program, will host a community picnic Monday, August 9 at Alexandria City Park.
Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered recovery program, will host a community picnic Monday, August 9 at Alexandria City Park. Anyone struggling with a hurt, hang-up or habit, or who loves someone who does, is welcome to attend. Meat will be provided; bring a store-bought dish to share.
Celebrate Recovery will meet every Monday in August at 6:30 p.m. at Alexandria Covenant Church.
The fall Celebrate Recovery schedule will resume Monday, September 13 with a kickoff barbecue supper at 6 p.m.; large group celebration with teaching, worship and faith stories at 6:30 p.m.; small groups for men and women at 7:30 p.m.; and coffee and dessert at 8:30 p.m.
