Paid Politicial Letter - A governor for Alexandria

To the editor:

On August 10, DFLers in Alexandria and across Minnesota will choose who they want to be their next governor. There is too much at stake in this election to sit this primary out.

Almost 204,000 Minnesotans are out of work – including 580 people in Alexandria. That’s why Minnesota needs a governor who will fight to get our state back to work.

I will be that governor.

As your governor, I will bring federal dollars home to cover 20,000 more Minnesotans with health care and create 30,000 jobs in our hospitals and clinics.

As your governor, I will make needed investments in Minnesota’s aging infrastructure – getting another 46,000 Minnesotans back to work.

As your governor, I will continue investments in the clean energy economy and help small businesses grow through better access to capital and technical support.

And as a working mom with two kids in public schools, I will fight to give your children a world-class education – because a great education is the foundation of a strong economy.

I won’t rest until 580 people in Alexandria are back to work. I don’t give up, and I will never stop fighting for you. I ask for your vote on August 10.
