Letter - Thanks for the article

To the editor:

I’m TyRuben’s sister, Martha. Just wanted to say thanks for the nice article [“Hollywood conceptual designer pays visit to childhood cabin near Miltona,” July 14 Echo Press].

It was a special “surprise” for my mom. More importantly, our memories of Alexandria/Miltona/Lake Irene are very special. Growing up in the summer months and all those experiences are dear to me and my entire family.

I still find time to get back each summer to visit “Big Ole” (remember him at the intersection – and freaked out that he was “gone” one summer visit only to discover he was moved) and the Douglas County Fair – and hanging out at various spots in town. Loved it all.
