Lake group for Cowdry, Taylor, Stony, Union to meet on Thursday
The Cowdry-Taylor-Stony-Union (CTSU) Lake Association will host its annual meeting on Thursday, July 29 at the Elks Lodge in Alexandria.
The Cowdry-Taylor-Stony-Union (CTSU) Lake Association will host its annual meeting on Thursday, July 29 at the Elks Lodge in Alexandria.
A potluck supper will begin at 6 p.m. (bring a dish to share and utensils) and the business meeting will start at 7 p.m.
The guest speakers include a member of the Douglas County Water Patrol and Emily Siira from the Douglas County Soil and Water Conservation District, who will present findings from a water quality testing report.
Other items that will be discussed include safety on West Cowdry Road, fish stocking, tent caterpillars in 2011 and zebra mussel monitoring.
