Back-to-school packets soon ready

Back-to-school packets and teacher assignments can be picked up at Lincoln, Voyager and Woodland Elementary schools beginning Monday, August 9 through Thursday, August 12 at the following times: from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lincoln; and from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Voyager and Woodland. Back-to-school packets for Garfield, Miltona Science Magnet and Carlos will be mailed.

These packets have teacher assignments and all the information and forms that need to be completed and returned at elementary orientation/open house events on Thursday, September 2. As long as the student is returning, or is a new student already enrolled, there will be a packet to pick up.

New families to the district should register their students for school as soon as possible. Elementary students may be registered at the District Welcome Center, 1410 South McKay Avenue, Suite 201.

Students are placed at the school that serves their neighborhood attendance area, with the exception of Miltona Science Magnet, which is an educational choice for students in grades K-6 who are interested in science.
