Events planned at DFL headquarters

Two events will take place next week at the DFL Headquarters at 418 Broadway, Alexandria.

Tuesday, July 27 is Movie Night. The film, Capitalism – A Love Story, a Michael Moore film, will be shown at 7 p.m. John Heydt will facilitate discussion following the movie.

“Moving forward with Margaret” – named after the DFL candidate for governor Margaret Anderson Kelliher – will take place on Wednesday, July 28, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The DFL-coordinated campaign and the Bennett Smith, Amy Hunter and Jim Thoreen campaigns are teaming up for the event, which will include outfitting bicycles with campaign colors.

People who wish to volunteer and be part of this event may call Mike McBride at (651) 246-7152, or just show up at 418 Broadway in Alexandria on July 28.
