Paid Letter - We see through the games

After Wednesday’s story in the Echo Press, I feel compelled to step forward and speak about Steve Hensley and the editorial that was written.

To the editor:

After Wednesday’s story in the Echo Press, I feel compelled to step forward and speak about Steve Hensley and the editorial that was written.

What wasn’t reported in the editorial was that the incumbent, Paul Anderson, originally went to KSAX, as well as other people and media, to air Steve’s problems. KSAX only found out about it after Paul went to them, and Steve has proof of that. For months Steve has been alerting supporters, friends and advisors of the errors he made last year. His troubles were not a surprise to most of us.

Steve is a victim of dirty politics. Is Anderson so ashamed and embarrassed about his record that instead of campaigning on what he’s accomplished, he instead has adopted the game plan of trying to tear Steve apart? That’s dirty politics, all right.

Anderson should be ashamed that in his desperation to hold on to power, he is willing to smear Steve Hensley’s name to do so. He should be ashamed; how low can politicians go just to win? We see through your games, Paul, and you will not get away with it.
