Paid Letter - I am moving forward

While one of my opponents is using my personal misfortunes for his political gain, I’m committed to staying in this race, and I am vowing right here and right now to stay above the dirty politics.

To the editor:

While one of my opponents is using my personal misfortunes for his political gain, I’m committed to staying in this race, and I am vowing right here and right now to stay above the dirty politics.

For two months I’ve been out on the streets meeting hundreds and hundreds of people and campaigning on three main points – bringing cooperation and collaboration to the board, stopping the silly spending, and pledging to stay out of the good old boys club; never will I vote for my own interests or for any other reason besides what’s in the best interest of my constituents.

Right now we need new blood and new ideas. People are desperate for change. The “good old boys” are not going to control this race; I am going to keep this campaign on the issues and off of the personal attacks.

I’ve always surrounded myself with older, wiser advisors. When I have questions, I ask. I will do the same if I am elected. I will work with the department heads and county workers to make informed, educated decisions.

I am sorry for my errors, I have stepped up, admitted them, and now I’m moving forward.
