Alexandria’s Casey Vangsness finished 41st after the final round of the 107 Minnesota Golf Association State Amateur Championship at Dakotah Ridge Golf Club in Morton, with a total 76-75-77-228. He made the day two cut by finishing 34th.
Both Gordy Diekman of Alexandria and former Alexandrian Jack Dressen missed the cut after day two.
Dressen came in with a 75-79-154, while Diekman finished at 81-79-160. The cut was 153.
Tom Hoge of Village Green Golf Club won the tournament with a three-day total of 67-67-71-205, one stroke ahead of Resorters regular Donald Constable of Deephaven.
