Authorities made a meth-related arrest in Staples on Tuesday.
Agents of the Central Minnesota Drug and Gang Task Force and the Staples Police Department executed a search warrant at 930 6th Street NE, Apartment 8 in Staples. The warrant was in connection with a joint investigation into the sales of methamphetamine in Staples.
Officers recovered a small amount of meth and other items that are suspected to have been used to sell meth.
The tenet of Apartment 8, Lisa Ann Mertens, 31, was arrested on probable cause 3rd degree controlled substance charges.
The matter has been forwarded to the Todd County Attorney's Office for formal charges. Mertens is expected to be arraigned in Todd County District Court today.
