NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
FOR CARLOS TOWNSHIP
ROAD MAINTENANCE
Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the Carlos Township clerk no later than 6:30 PM at her home, or delivered to the town board at the regular meeting by 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 22, 2010, for the routine annual maintenance of the Carlos Township road system, approximately 70 miles in length; said maintenance to involve blading, hauling gravel, snow removal, salting and sanding. Contractor must furnish, haul and spread Class V material as required. Class V material must meet MN DOT specifications.
Contract will be for one (1) year. Bids will be opened at 8:00 PM on July 22, 2010.
All bids must be sealed, identified on the envelope as “Bid on Road Maintenance”, must state experience and equipment qualification, and must be accompanied by a copy of liability and workmen’s compensation insurance binder and also a Cashier’s Check or bond in the amount of $1000 payable to Carlos Township.
The Township Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any defects, irregularities, or technicalities therein.
