OTTERTAIL, Minn. – A Verndale man is in critical condition after a three-vehicle crash Thursday east of Ottertail, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
James G. Foster, 78, was driving a 1994 Chrysler Concorde sedan eastbound on Highway 108 at about 7:43 p.m. He was changing course to continue eastbound on Highway 52 when he failed to yield for a westbound 2004 Chevy Trailblazer, the patrol stated in a news release.
The SUV hit the passenger side of the sedan, spinning it around. The sedan then collided with a 2003 Dodge truck parked at a stop sign.
Foster was taken to Tri-County Hospital in Wadena.
The other parties involved in the accident were either treated and released or not injured.
