'Meet the Beetles' to perform at AAAA tonight

The Alexandria Area Arts Association will present “Meet the Beetles” tonight, Friday, July 9.

Meet the Beetles, a tribute to one of the greatest bands in history, will perform at 7:30 p.m. at the downtown theater.

Tickets for the show are $25 each and can be purchased by calling the AAAA box office at (320) 762-8300 or by stopping by the office at 618 Broadway.

Box office hours are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and one hour prior to all shows.

The concert is sponsored by Shawn Reilly with IBR Realty.

Meet the Beetles represents some of Chicago’s finest musicians paying tribute to the British rock band, the Beatles – one of the greatest bands of all time.

These lads come from every point on the rock-n-roll compass to create a “Beatles concert experience” complete with the look, accent, proper instruments and onstage banter.

The members of the band include Scott Riforgiate as Paul McCartney, James Hondros as George Harrison, Jesse Nolan as Ringo Starr and Scott Carlson as John Lennon.
