Author of 'Godspace' to speak on spiritual conversations

The Unity Foundation, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and YMCA are excited to bring author, speaker and YMCA Chaplain Doug Pollock to Alexandria for a community workshop on creating effective spiritual conversations.

Have you been turned off by evangelistic methods in the past? Are you trying to figure out how to start spiritual conversations with your friends, co-workers and family members without turning them off?

If so, Pollock suggests it may be time to learn how to create some “God space.”

During the workshop, Pollock – author of Godspace and co-author of the award-winning book, Irresistible Evangelism – will serve as a guide to help participants cross the “us/them” divide.

His multi-media driven workshop is guaranteed to help you increase the quality and quantity of spiritual conversations in authentic, doable and practical ways that will truly connect with people in your Monday through Saturday world.

The community is invited to this event, which is set for Thursday, July 15 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Discovery Middle School auditorium in Alexandria. Cost is $10 per household (high school age and up).
