Alexandria's Brock Lesnar is still the reigning UFC heavyweight champion.
Lesnar survived a brutal first-round pounding by previously undefeated interim champ Shane Carwin Saturday night at UFC 116 to at the MGM Grand Garden, coming back in the second round to finish off his opponent at 2:19 using an arm triangle choke.
The former Gopher and professional wrester had been forced to cancel two previous fights with Carwin after a severe illness.
