Minnesota farmers who suffered livestock losses due to the June 17 storms may be eligible to receive benefits through the USDA Farm Service Agency’s Livestock Indemnity Program (LIP).

Producers who lost livestock need to notify their local FSA office within 30 days after the weather event to determine if they qualify for benefits under the LIP.
