Osakis musician Mikko Cowdery will present a free concert of old favorites Wednesday, July 7.
The concert, which is set for 7 p.m., will take place in Fort Alexandria at the Runestone Museum.
The program will feature an assortment of country western, pop and folk tunes from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and beverages. The program is expected to last about an hour and a half.
Cowdery noted that the show would include songs as diverse as Roger Miller’s King of the Road; Tennessee Ernie Ford’s Sixteen Tons and Hank Williams’ Lovesick Blues, along with other favorites such as Fly Me to the Moon, Mairzy Doats and Mack the Knife.
