To the editor:
On Tuesday, June 29 at about 3:10 p.m., I was driving north on Nokomis by Noonan Park. There were four cars ahead of me and I was appalled that not one of them stopped for a woman, who was holding hands with two small children and trying to cross the street right where the yellow lights were flashing.
I stopped for her and the children, and seeing a car coming from the north, I immediately put my flashers on so the car would stop because I wasn’t sure if it was going to stop. It did. People need to watch for pedestrians. Life is too precious!
