Streetlight work under way

Alexandria Light and Power crews are doing maintenance to replace streetlights.

Alexandria Light and Power crews are doing maintenance on 6th Avenue, between Hawthorne and Nokomis Street, to replace streetlights. The utility company is also running new wire on Hawthorne before the street is redone. The streetlight project should be completed in three to four weeks and the wiring should be completed within a week.
