Alexandria’s Brush and Palette Art Club invites the public to “A House of Art,” a 10-day art show and sale.
Alexandria’s Brush and Palette Art Club invites the public to “A House of Art,” a 10-day art show and sale. The event will take place Saturday, June 26 to Monday, July 5 at 609 North Nokomis (Highway 29 North) in Alexandria, in the building known as the “farm house.” An open house reception will be held on June 26 from 3 to 5 p.m.
The show will be open the following times: Weekdays – 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturdays – 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sundays – noon to 4 p.m.; and July 5 – noon to 4 p.m.
More than 30 artists will have their work displayed in a variety of art forms, including original, framed paintings (watercolor, oil, pastel, ink, collage and acrylic), prints, greeting cards, photography, painted glassware and more.
Attendees will receive a free gift, can watch demonstrations, and sign up for daily door prizes and the grand prize – an original framed watercolor.
The Brush and Palette Club is comprised of members of all levels of experience. New artists are invited to join. The group meets Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to noon at United Methodist Church in Alexandria.
