American Legion to host breakfast at Alex airport

The Alexandria American Legion Post 87 is hosting a Belgian waffle breakfast for veterans.

The theme of the breakfast is, “They do it for us, let’s do it for them!”

The event will take place on Saturday, June 12 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Alexandria Airport.

The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for youth ages 5 to 12.

Proceeds from the waffle breakfast will go to support veterans, their families and local troops.
