Storybook hour offered at EAC this summer

The Evansville Arts Coalition is proud to present Storybook Hour this summer.

Storybook Hour will take place Friday mornings at the Evansville Art Center, 111 Main Street in Evansville, now through August 20 as a way to encourage children to keep up their reading skills during the summer.

Between the hours of 10:30 and 11 a.m., volunteers will read to children who are 6 years of age and younger. From 11 to 11:30, volunteers will read to children 7 years of age and older.

Children must be accompanied by an adult or teenager during the entire Storybook Hour.

Children are welcome to bring their favorite books.

The Evansville Arts Coalition is supported in part by grants from the Lakes Region Arts Council through a Minnesota State Legislative appropriation.
