Bremer Bank is “Taking Action Against Hunger” the entire month of June, raising funds for Feeding America and local food shelves.
This marks the fifth consecutive year of the campaign – a partnership between the nonprofit and Bremer. This year, Bremer is challenging everyone to help match the $100,000 Bremer challenge gift.
During the month of June, there are three ways to make a donation: A $10 donation can be automatically made by texting BREMER to 27722 (message and data rates may apply). Donations can also be made online at Bremer.com or at any Bremer Bank location.
For every $10 donated, local Feeding America food banks can distribute 37 meals for individuals and families in need.
In addition, Bremer employees are hosting a silent auction from June 14-29 at both Alexandria locations. Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit Second Harvest Heartland.
“Hunger can impact anyone, even someone you may know,” said David Kjos, CEO and president of Bremer Bank Alexandria. “Bremer recognizes this and the special need to fill food shelves during the summer months.”
