Eight groups of dancers, including the Delta Nus (above) from Dancin' Off Broadway are heading to the Masquerade National Dance Competition in the Twin Cities June 21-25, where they will compete in jazz, tap and lyrical categories. The groups earned eight platinum awards, seven high golds and five golds, while in solo/duet competition, they brought home four platinums, four high golds and five golds. Kole Nelson, Allie Noetzelman and Mariya Lawinger received the Parade of Stars award, which is a scholarship to attend a dance convention in_New York City. The Delta Nus received the Masquerade Award, which is given to one routine out of 250. Members of that group included Grace Walter, Josie Minnerath, Sophia Cavers, Hallie Holtberg, Lindsey Knoll, Alison Tvrdik, McKenna Gibson, Alexis Thang, Harlie Falzone, Whitney Austin, Emma Schmidt, Kelsey Johnson, Sydney Mahler, Amber Rahn, Mariah Hagen and Siera Nelson. In the Midwest Starz dance competition, Dancin'_Off Broadway returned with eight overall high point awards, 10 platinum awards, 13 high gold, five gold and one silver award. Nelson, Noetzelman, Lawinger, Breanna Lewis, Riley Fernholz, Koryna Molden and Karly Betterman received stand-out dancer awards.
