Economic development strategy for region open for public review
The regional Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), which is compiled yearly by West Central Initiative for nine counties in west central Minnesota, is available for public review and comment until June 21.

The CEDS is submitted to the Economic Development Administration each year and covers the counties of Becker, Clay, Grant, Douglas, Otter Tail, Pope, Stevens, Traverse and Wilkin. The document incorporates demographic data and analysis pertaining to the region as well as economic development projects seeking EDA funding.
