Teams needed for softball, volleyball tournament

The 4th annual Productive Alternatives men’s softball and ladies sand volleyball tournament and fundraiser has been set.

The 4th annual Productive Alternatives men’s softball and ladies sand volleyball tournament and fundraiser has been set.

The event will take place Saturday, August 14 starting at 8 a.m. at the Parkers Prairie City Park.

Softball and volleyball teams interested in playing can register now for the tournament.

There will be concessions, drawings and great softball and volleyball entertainment. So far, there are more than 10 softball and six volleyball teams slated to play.

Proceeds from the fundraising event will benefit Productive Alternatives programs.

Productive Alternatives branches are located in Alexandria, Brainerd, Fergus Falls, Little Falls, Moorhead, Parkers Prairie and Perham.

It is a non-profit organization established to provide vocational, rehabilitation, training, habilitation, employment and developmental services to persons with disabilities.
