Strong winds cause some damage in Douglas County

Monday night’s strong winds did some damage near West Lake Cowdry Road.

Monday night’s strong winds did some damage near West Lake Cowdry Road. Two large pines fell down on a home, a pontoon and lift were tossed upside down into the water and a dock was pushed out of the lake. No other re-ports of major storm or wind damage were reported to the sheriff’s office but deputies stayed busy during the night clearing off county roads.
