Driver flees after Otter Tail car chase

The driver of a car reported stolen in Otter Tail County got away early Sunday morning after a brief chase, authorities said in a news release.
The vehicle pursuit covered about four and a half miles in Sverdrup Township, a sheriff’s deputy said in the release. The township is between Fergus Falls, Minn., and Battle Lake, Minn., near Anna Lake.
The chase, which happened around 1 a.m., ended with the unidentified driver parking and fleeing on foot, the deputy said. No arrests were made, and the investigation is ongoing.
