NOTICE OF INTENT TO AMEND

THE DOUGLAS COUNTY

WATER SURFACE USE

ORDINANCE AS IT RELATES TO

LAKES COWDRY, DARLING,

GENEVA, VICTORIA AND IDA

Please take notice that on the 25th day of May at 10:00 a.m., Douglas County will hold a public hearing in the County Commissioners room located on the second floor of the County Courthouse, 305 8th Avenue West, Alexandria, Minnesota 56308, on the proposed amendment to the Water Surface Use Ordinance No. 062309A.

The amendment proposes to restrict watercraft travel through the channels connecting Lk Cowdry to Lk Darling and Lk Victoria to Lk Geneva, and to create a no-wake area on Lk Ida.

Copies of the draft amendment are available in the Land and Resource Management Department, County Public Library, and on the County website at www.co.douglas.mn.us
