Lakeside Dance Club announces summer season

The Lakeside Dance Club announces its summer season for 2010.

The club will be hosting seven live big band dances at the Lakeside Ballroom in Glenwood.

The dances will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. The cost is $20 per couple or dancers can pay an $80 membership fee for all seven dances.

The dances are open to the public and all ages are welcome. There is a simple dress code – no jeans and no shorts.

Here is the schedule for the upcoming 2010 summer season:

•Sunday, May 16 – Upper Mississippians Orchestra.

•Sunday, June 13 – Myron Summerfeld and his orchestra.

•Sunday, July 18 – Don Riggs Big Band.

•Sunday August 1 – Sammy Jenson Orchestra.

•Sunday, August 29 – Myron Sommerfeld and his orchestra.

•Sunday, September 12 – Velvet Brass Band.

•Sunday, September 26 – Upper Mississippians Orchestra.
