Sarah Abbott took home three of those titles in rhythmic events. She finished first in the ribbon, hoop and all-around categories. Abbott will represent Alexandria at the National Special Olympic Games in Nebraska this July.
Crystal Kronfeldt was also very successful in the artistic events. She took first in the unified vault, unified beam, unified floor, unified bars and in the unified all-around category.

The Alexandria area team is coached by Karyn Sportel, Jill Jerdie, Deb Braud, Vicky Jerdie and athlete as coach Allyson Estes. The team will now turn its attention to the state summer games in Minnetonka this June.
Golf and bocce will also be starting in June. Training schools for level two coaches for bocce are set for May 23 from 1-3 p.m. at Lamb Park in Moorhead.
