Wedding - Marson/Barnes

Joslyn Ann Marson, formerly of Elmwood, Wisconsin, and Sergeant Justin Erik Barnes, formerly of Alexandria, were married August 28, 2009 at Alexandria Covenant Church. Pastor Rol Boyce officiated the ceremony. A dinner and dance followed at Arrowwood in Alexandria.

Joslyn is the daughter of John and Jodell Marson of Elmwood.

Justin is the son of Joe and Loni Barnes of Alexandria. He is a firefighter/rescue EMT for the U.S. Marine Corps in Yuma, Arizona.

Jenna Marson, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. The bride’s attendants included Kathy Clarke, Katie Schofield and Jennessa Schwartz, friends; and Katelin Wagner, sister of the groom.

Frank Dumont, friend, served as best man. The groom’s attendants included Chad Preese, Anthony Amundson and Justin Jerve, friends; and Woody Wagner, brother-in-law.

Honored guests included grandparents, Guy and Nettie Erickson.

The couple resides in Yuma.
