At its regular meeting Monday night, the Alexandria School District 206 school board approved Trevor Peterson as the district’s new business director.

Peterson recently served the past five and a half years as the business manager for the Hawley School District.

He will begin his duties in District 206 on April 30.

“I am very pleased to introduce Mr. Peterson as the district’s business director,” said Superintendent Terry Quist. “His years of experience in school finance operations, complemented by a strong background in the business and health care sectors, will make him a valuable asset to District 206.”

As the business director, Peterson will report to Superintendent Quist and is responsible for the administration and management of all the district’s business affairs as they relate to accounting, finance, purchasing and insurance.

Peterson and his wife, Stacy, have two children.
