Every 10 years the Minneapolis Institute of Arts holds a non-juried event open to all artists in Minnesota. It is called “Foot in the Door” and runs until June 13.
The exhibition celebrates the diversity and enthusiasm of Minnesota’s artists.
The sole curatorial criteria? Each submission must fit within one cubic foot.
This year, the Foot in the Door event fills three rooms on the second floor of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, located at 2400 3rd Avenue South in Minneapolis.
Alexandria Brush and Palette Club member artists Wanda Borman, Ellen Eilers and Linda Frisell all have art works on display at the Institute for this event.
The next time the event will be held is 2020. For more information, go online to http://www.artsmia.
