AN ORDINANCE BY REFERENCE

REPLACING THE EXISTING CHAPTER 12 (UNCODED ORDINANCES) WITH THE NEW STORM WATER MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE, AND THE OLD CHAPTER 12 WILL BECOME THE NEW CHAPTER 13

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Alexandria desires to adopt a Storm Water Management Ordinance; and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Alexandria desires to make Chapter 12 in the Alexandria City Code the new Storm Water Management, and

WHEREAS, the existing Chapter 12 (Uncoded Ordinances) will be replaced with the new Storm Water Management, and the old Chapter 12 will become the new Chapter 13, and

WHEREAS, the publication of the complete text of this ordinance is not economically feasible.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA, MINNESOTA, HEREBY ORDAINS:

Section I: That Chapter 12 (Uncoded Ordinances) be replaced with the new Storm Water Management Ordinance, and the old Chapter 12 will become the new Chapter 12 in the Alexandria City Code. Because it is not economically feasible to publish the entire text of the ordinance, the ordinance is published by reference, but the full copy of the ordinance is on file in the Office of the City Clerk and copies are available to any interested persons during the regular office hours of the City Clerk.

Section II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication by reference.

YES: BIGGER, CARLSON, BENSON, FRANK

NO: NONE

ABSENT: MILLER
