Nagtzaam named to All-Central hockey team

The Blizzard’s Nardo Nagtzaam was named to the NAHL’s All Central Division team recently.

Nagtzaam provided an instant spark for the Alexandria offense after being acquired in a trade from Alaska. He racked up 37 points in just 31 games for the Blizzard, including the playoffs. He also had 29 points in 30 games with Alaska before the trade.

The Bismarck Bobcats had three players named to the All-Central team. Forward Jason Fabian, defenseman Sam Rendle and goaltender Ryan Faragher are all a big reason why the Bobcats were able to sweep their first two divisional playoff series. Cory Thorson of Owatonna and Derek Docken of Albert Lea were also named to the team.
