A window was broken at a residence on 5th Avenue East.
Someone broke into a car parked near South McKay Avenue and stole radio equipment.
Tools were stolen from a truck parked on Irving Street.
A storage shed at Discovery Middle School was damaged.
April 14
There have been reports of pop cans being stolen from the Band Booster recycling trailers at Walmart and Neighborhood National Bank.
A pickup parked on Jefferson Street was keyed.
A toolbox filled with tools was stolen from a residence on Bryant Street.
April 15
A burglary was reported at 1210 Broadway. The incident is under investigation and no other details were available.
April 16
A gas leak was reported at a construction site near the Viking Plaza Mall at about 9:30 a.m. An excavating company hit a gas line. Businesses in the area were notified and precautionary evacuations took place.
A wallet was lost near 3rd Avenue East. It contained identification, a debit card and a $100 bill, which was hidden inside.
A sign at Nokomis Auto Service was damaged.
April 18
A 7500 DeWalt commercial generator was stolen from the campgrounds near Viking Speedway.
A load leveling receiver hitch was stolen from a truck parked in the campgrounds area near Viking Speedway. Value: $650.
A driver reported that a board flew into her windshield as she was traveling on Interstate 94 near mile marker 92 shortly before 1 p.m.
April 19
An electric guitar, which was left leaning against a car in the Hawthorne Street parking lot, was stolen.
Forty-nine wood pallets were stolen from Bio Corporation on Nevada Street sometime between Friday and Monday.

April 13
Approximately 50 letters were stolen from a sign near East Nokomis Street in Osakis.
Someone burned the toilets in the men’s and women’s restrooms at Lake Brophy Park.
April 14
Someone forced open a door to a locked shed on Busch Road SE, Alexandria and stole several items, including a generator, welder, grease gun kit, impact wrenches, log chains, jumper cables and other tools. Estimated value: $3,750.
Two bicycles were stolen from a garage on Latoka Drive.
An air compressor and a chainsaw were stolen from a residence on Birchwood Road NW, Alexandria.
Batteries in a road grader and van were stolen near a business along Highway 27 East in Osakis.
A two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 29 and County Road 28 was reported at 6:16 a.m. It resulted in minor injuries.
April 16
Osakis firefighters were called out to a fire that started from a wood stove at Osakis Pallet Company at 9:51 a.m.
April 18
A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked outside the Melby Outpost.
Someone opened the hood of a 1997 Ford Taurus parked near Blue Jay Way in Garfield and damaged the engine wiring.
April 19
The Solem Church near Kensington was broken into sometime during the past month. A snowblower and sound system were stolen.
A laptop computer, a DSL box, two wrench sets and a tool kit were stolen from a residence on West Street Circle in the Miltona area.
